Mdm Zainab started working at Rollei when she was just 16 years old. She recalls: “At first I was afraid because it was my first time working in a factory but I quickly overcame this because I wanted to be independent and earn an income for myself. I eventually left my job to take care of my children but wouldn’t have otherwise. I loved working and making friends with my colleagues from different cultural backgrounds.”
